Our Infant classroom is set up to care, love, and promote a safe space for infants and their families first introduction to our preschool. In this class we take care of the children based on their needs and schedules. Teachers spend time with the infants’ doing crafts, reading, singing songs, playing outside, and more. They introduce developmentally appropriate activities, social-emotional learning and age-appropriate life skills.

Our Early Learner classroom goal is to actively work towards advancing students to be ready for Preschool level. In an effort to prepare children, teachers will introduce the concept of center play, strong vocabulary enrichment, literary skills, and social/life skills (meal assistance and potty-training activities will also be included). They learn through play, music, circle time, story telling and more teaching techniques. Teachers will ensure that children are hitting all these points through following a daily schedule set up to have time put aside for each subject/learning experiences. Teachers will also use parent communication, curriculum planning, and lesson planning to ensure classroom success.

Our Preschool classroom is set up to be Kindergarten Prep. We use curriculum that introduces several learning concepts such as literacy, math, and critical thinking skills. Vocabulary development is very important at this stage too, as children will begin to learn the art of writing. Furthermore, children are exposed to a print-rich environment, which allows students to associate written language to oral language. Teachers will also provide opportunity for play, music, movement, creative thinking, and advancing social skills. Social-emotional learning and self-regulating as well as life skills are a huge part of getting ready for school and will be topics that are hit daily. Teachers will ensure that children are hitting all these points through following a daily schedule set up to have time put aside for each subject/learning experiences. Teachers will also use assessments, parent communication, curriculum planning, and lesson planning to ensure classroom success.
